1. Where are you located?

I am a licensed Cottage Food Baker.  I adhere to all state and local Cottage industry laws.  Cookie pickups are made at my home in Melbourne, Fl. 

2. Do you ship?
No. Under the Florida Cottage Food law I am not allowed to ship.  (I’m sorry)

3. What options do you offer?

a) Favors; individually wrapped cookies that you give out to your guests

b) Platters; an assortment of cookie designs and sizes in your theme, arranged on a platter and perfect for a dessert table.

c) Gift boxes; come in an assortment of sizes and pricing options.

4. Do you have gluten free, vegan or dairy free options?
No, not at this time.

5. How does pricing work?
Cookie pricing is based on size, intricacy of design, number of colors involved and other additions.  You can get a better idea of pricing by checking out the chart on my pricing page.

6. Do you have a catalog?
No, each order is custom and I like to tell people that if you can dream it then I can put it on a cookie.  Please browse my gallery and follow me on facebook and Instagram to see samples of my work but I’d love to create something truly unique for you!

7. Do you offer discounts for large orders?
No, Even the simplest of cookies take hours of work and days to finish. Large orders take the same amount of time per cookie.

8. When should I order?
You should order as soon as you have an event date.  Sometimes I book up months in advance.

9. How long will my cookies stay fresh?
Cookies have a shelf life of 2 to 3 weeks if kept sealed in their original cellophane packaging.  You may freeze leftover cookies for up to 3 months with no loss in quality. If freezing, keep the cookies in their original heat-sealed cellophane package and when ready to eat bring to room temp for a couple hours.  Unseal and enjoy!

10. Do you offer cakes, cupcakes or other treats?
The quick answer to this is “no”.  You may, however, occasionally see photos of cakes and cupcakes that I have done in the past. Pink Apron started as a custom cake business in 2012 but over the years due to time constraints and wanting to give the best possible product I had to choose one thing to focus on and the cookie business now takes 100% of my time…. and I love it!!

11. My child has allergies. Are your cookies peanut free?
My cookies are peanut free, ingredients are listed below. I take all precautions to keep cookies from coming in contact with any known allergen and although my equipment is sanitized after each use it is occasionally used with recipes that include peanuts, tree nuts, soy etc…If your child has allergies please consider possible risk before purchasing.

Sugar Cookies: Enriched, Bleached Wheat Flour,( Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid.) butter, granulated sugar, eggs, baking powder, vanilla (vanilla bean extractives in water, alcohol 35%, and cane sugar), Almond flavor emulsion (water, artificial almond flavoring compounds, propylene glycol, xanthan gum, sodium benzoate) lemon extract (alcohol, lemon oil) and salt. 

Royal icing; powdered sugar (cane sugar corn starch) , meringue powder (Corn Starch, Egg Whites, Sugar, Gum Arabic, Sodium Aluminum Sulfate, Citric Acid, Cream of Tartar and Vanillin) Almond flavor emulsion (water, artificial almond flavoring compounds, propylene glycol, xanthan gum, sodium benzoate)

Contains: Wheat, Eggs, Dairy 

I use Americolor food coloring gels; Ingredients: Water, sugar, colors (one or more of red #40, red #3, yellow #5, yellow #6, blue #1, blue #2, or titanium dioxide), modified corn starch, vegetable gum, citric acid, and less than 1/10 of 1% sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate (as preservatives) Allergens: Does not contain nut products and is not manufactured in a facility or on equipment which processes such products.
